House Hunting...

Okay...well most of you know that I am looking for a house. My dad has graciously decided to sell the house that he and my mom owned and split the money between my sister and I. It sounds awesome and it really is but there are a few bumps that go along with it. Maybe I will explain that in my next blog. So I have been searching for a house for months now and nothing seems to be coming through. I don't know why...I guess I should just have faith that these are the wrong places for me. So the first house that I put an offer on was really cute and just needed a few things to be finished off...I was ready. The next thing I know the current owners and looking into a loan modification...what?!? Okay I can only guess what that means because I don't really know but I know it's not good for me. Moving on I guess (no pun intended). So I go out and see about 3 more places and I like them all. The only caveat is that 2 are condos and I think I have decided against condos because I can afford a house...or at least that is what I think at the moment. So the house that I saw and totally love is completely out of my price range but I think I am going to go for it. It has taken me a week to decide on that but I am going to jump in feet first. I am not going to offer what the house is going for but I think the offer I am going to put in is reasonable. The only thing I will have to do now is wait...my most unfavorite thing. Especially when I am waiting for the bank to respond...gosh they take their sweet time. I will keep you posted...thanks for reading :)
