Grumpy?!?!?

Okay well since it has been cold outside...have you seen the snow??? We have be bringing Peeps in to the house to sleep in her carrier. Well I have found out by trial and error that she particularly does not care for her carrier especially if you are not taking her somewhere. One day I had some things to get done so I had to put her in it about 6:30...needless to say she had poop and food all over the carrier...is she a monkey ?!?!...note to Nic don't put her in there too early. Okay so last night was a little different but kinda the same. Jen and I went to look at a house and then Jen stopped by to get Peeps ready for the night...we brought her in the house where she had dinner and then Jen hung out with her for a while. Then Jen put her in the carrier, it was about 8:30. Well my sister wanted to run to Target so off we went. When we got back I had things to do that involved me in my room...Peeps needed me to know that if I am in my room and not going to bed that she should not be in bed either. So I grabbed my sister and we sat on the floor with her for a little while and played. The plan was that my sister was going to watch her while I took a shower. We got the room all set up and I got ready to go and take a shower. Once I left the room she followed me. My sister was NO help trying to keep her in my room. So what ended up happening was my sister and I cleaned up the bathroom so there was nothing Peeps could get to and Peeps and I took a shower. Well Peeps stayed in the bathroom and I got in the shower...she talked and talked while I was in the shower. I don't know if it was the water or what. When I talked to her she even got louder. I am sure she was telling me about the rain and how that is a shower for her. But I know she said something about hurrying up too. So I got out of the shower and got ready for bed and she kept following me back and forth to the bathroom. Once I got everything all done I cleaned up her toys and put her back in the carrier. I assured her that I was going to watch a little TV with my sister and I would be back shortly and we could go to bed. That seemed to work. I closed the door slightly and shut the light off and she seemed to accept that. Whoa...talk about a little personality. I love the daylight out of that "little" duck. Hopefully she will tell her mommy about this little story and I can hear her side.
